The Katy Bridge in Boonville Missouri by Notley Hawkins Photography. The Katy Bridge is an old railroad bridge that spans the Missouri River. I took these photos after an evening rain shower and had to navigate tall weeds and grass to get to the river bank and was very wet afterwards. The river was fairly high and almost got stuck in the mud along the banks. I shot this with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III and a Canon EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens with a polarizer to increase the contrast. Processed with Lightoom.

The Katy Bridge in Boonville Missouri by Notley Hawkins Photography. The Katy Bridge is an old railroad bridge that spans the Missouri River. I also used a polarizer to increase contrast and to capture the deep blue sky. B&C Auto specializes in Volkswagons and has large yard of Beetle's, vans and other models as well.

Central Satellites store front by Notley Hawkins Photography. Located in Howard County Missouri, this building was abandoned after the great flood of 1993. It sits across the Missouri River from Boonville Missouri. The roof has collapsed letting the trees overtake the interior. Photographed on a humid summer night under the full moon.

Abandoned gas station under the full moon by Notley Hawkins Photography in Columbia Missouri. Located at the Rocheport Exit along I-70 in Boone County Missouri, this was once a Sinclair station and closed in the early nineties. The pumps have been removed the roof is still intact. The windows have been boarded up too.
